We offer a first class New Hampshire (N.H.) moose hunting experience. Based in Berlin, New Hampshire aka "Moose Alley", Shoot-A-Hare Guide Service is ideally suited and experienced to provide you with the best chance of success should be lucky enough to be drawn for a New Hampshire Moose Tag.

Congratulation to Brian and Mike (shown above) on their successful New Hampshire Moose Hunt. Brian and Mike chose Shoot-A-Hare Guide Service and ended up seeing over 20 Moose in 2.5 days!!! Quite a time was had up North with near perfect weather and a hunt that will be remembered for a lifetime. They are shown here smiling with a tasty 2 year old and no doubt daydreaming about grilling some monster backstraps with friends!

For those interested in entering the annual drawing for Moose, check the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department website pages HERE for the latest information. Drawings are normally held the middle to end of June with the cutoff dates for entering normally being the end of May. To enter is inexpensive and New Hampshire offers some of the best, if not the best chance for you to draw a tag. (Shown in photo are Brian and Mike with a fine harvested NH Moose!)

Congratulations to Wes and Keith on their successful New Hampshire Moose Hunt. Wes and Keith chose Shoot-A-Hare Guide Service and ended up seeing over 24 Moose in from Saturday's opener through Tuesday at 7:10 am when they successfully filled their tag!!!!

Memories that will last a lifetime were made over the 4 days. The successful duo are shown here smiling with their 3 1/2 year old bull weighing in at 720 lbs with a 38" spread. Rumor has it that the meat from this bull filled a pickup truck bed after processing. Wes and Keith are both hunters from the State of New Hampshire.

Our fully guided Moose Hunt includes:

• Transportation to and from the Hunt site, daily.
• Meals
• Multiple site selection.
• Tracking & retrieval of moose.
• Assistance with dressing and processing (at your request).
• Video photography of the event.
• Assistance and transportation to moose registration station.
• Taxidermy booking available (optional).
• Hours of good hunting stories.
• Butchering site's available

Semi Guided-$900.00*

Note: Semi Guided Hunt Prices at Shoot-A-Hare Guides have remained the same for the 2009 season to provide a sensible alternative for hunters on limited budgets during the current economic crisis.

Semi-guided hunts include:

• A pre-hunt briefing and scout report
• Predetermined hunting areas
• Dressing (time permitting) and removal of your moose.
• Transportation to register your moose and assistance with butchering or taxidermy if needed.

Lodging can be made available for all the hunts an additional fee.

A Shoot-A-Hare Guide Service Moose Hunt does NOT Include:

• NH resident or non-resident hunting license, with applicable NH Moose Permit.
  

What to bring on your Moose Hunt:

• Appropriate firearm or bow and ammunition.
• Camouflage clothing (hunter orange optional).
• Warm, cool, and cold weather clothing. (We are in NH!)
• Rain gear.
• Compass.
• Hunting knife.
• Good Pair of boots "Rubber if you have them"

• Binoculars
• Camera
